The black & white image to the far left is produced with the Archicad Detail Window. The Arch Window is live from the model. The image near left shows a Shop Drawing provided by Kolbe & Kolbe overlaid as an xref on top of my Original. The enlargement in the center demonstrates the differences between my submittal and their shop drawings. With a design as intricate as this, all deviations are significant. Archicad's 3d modeling allowed us to accurately define to Kolbe where they had to make adjustments. The process would have been perfect had Kolbe had the understanding to know that my submittal was real and not schematic. I submitted DWG's from Archicad to Kolbe. Since this was a custom window, I did not intend for them to change my drawing in any respect.
